Yep, I hit that as well 2.5 weeks ago when I started using xmir:

Aside from the lack of proper multi-monitor support and that bug I
haven't had any other problems or seen much difference. It has worked
as reliably and smoothly as before. I'm actually using external
monitor, but the Mir's default mirror mode has been enough while
waiting for this new support which I'll try out now.
