Re: Setting env. variables manually

I have edited the "Persistent environment variables" section:

Previously it said that the PAM files should be used, and that all other
files are not recommended.

Now it says that ~/.pam_environment and ~/.profile are suitable for user
level settings, and that /etc/environment and /etc/profile.d/*.sh are
suitable for system-wide settings.

For the case you find the time to read it through, please let me know if
there is anything else that should be altered or clarified.
