System Settings Checkbox to Disable Whoopsie/Crash Notifications

This is a request for a setting that would be useful for power users
that would like to be able to disable crash notifications on their
Ubuntu desktop. Currently, when I reboot I am presented with many
crashes that I have already reported, or are irrelevant/etc. It would be
great if I could opt-out of these messages.

I understand crash reporting is very important for the quality of Ubuntu
desktop; but for most users the frequency of these dialogs can be a bit
annoying. Observing non-technical users (this is a small sample size
based on my personal experience) when they encounter this dialog they
think something is seriously wrong until they learn they can safely
ignore most warnings by clicking 'Cancel'. So another proposal would be
to have a setting that reports without the dialog (for non-root issues).

Currently my workaround is to uninstall/purge packages; but I feel like
that's a bit heavy handed. Perhaps there is already some setting I'm
missing?

Thanks,
