Not a strong objection, but is it worth maintaining a delta for this? If there is a tool (now or in the future) that does depend on it, then it'll become a problem unique to Ubuntu and derivatives and that'd mean bugs or delta in other packages as well. So is there a reason to do that to ourselves? The only reason in the bug is that tools will pick it up wrong, but that (as you said) should be fixed in those tools. Robie
