Since the start of this 14.04 cycle I have been running Ubuntu 14.04
Desktop on an Ubuntu 12.04 server under KVM / QEMU.

As of 2014.02.17 it became broken, and remains broken.

I thought (hoped) this stuff might help.

I created a new Ubuntu 14.04 server on a spare partition with the daily
64 bit iso of 2014.03.01
I created a new guest VM 14.04 64 bit desktop with the daily iso of
2014.03.02. Same problem.

I added the above mentioned PPA, upgraded etc. Same problem.

I.E. Because things are broken anyhow, I can not create a baseline
from which to say if the new stuff is better or not.
