While I see the point with enabling translations for the project _also_,
I'm hesitating about disabling it for the packages.

Especially it has an impact on all the translators. An example: If I
want to work on the Swedish translations of Ubuntu packages soon before
the wily release, I'll probably check out this page:

Even if translators do a lot of upstream translations, I for one suspect
that they expect pure Ubuntu packages to be included on such pages.


Another possible approach to achive the same goal might be to split the
source package, so there is one source package for each built binary.
Has that ever been considered?
