And if 3 isn't a charm for you, you can as well remove the bad lines
from the old prerm and then upgrade:

$ sed -i -e '/Debian 1:5.1+dfsg-4ubuntu1/d'
/var/lib/dpkg/info/qemu-system-gui*.prerm
$ apt install qemu-system-gui
