Candidate endorsement [Was Re: Extended call for Ubuntu Technical Board candidates]

As a further comment on the TB elections, I want to weigh in and give my
support to one candidate in particular.

As a sitting Technical Board member, since so much of what the TB deals with
relates to what should and should not be allowed in Ubuntu, I have always
found it invaluable to have the perspective of our Security Team in TB
discussions. With Marc Deslauriers' resignation, we have not had a direct
voice of the Security Team on the TB for a while. The work Robie has done
in consulting stakeholders regarding a "third-party repository" policy, that
he highlights in his own platform for re-election, is absolutely exemplary.
Nevertheless, I think this process is easier overall if the Security Team
has a direct seat at the table.

For this reason, in a field of excellent candidates whose technical
qualifications are beyond reproach, I plan to vote Alex Murray first.
