I have no particular opinion on this specific change, as I'm not
familiar in this area. One request though: we have a special SRU
procedure for tzdata here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates#tzdata. Please could you
ensure and test that this process will still work reasonably, avoiding
the accidental removal of this feature from stable releases?
It sounds like it might be fine without needing to do anything special,
but I thought it important to mention and test in the case of tzdata
specifically because it is a special case.
