Hello there, Most of you already know that Stonking Stingray has now been open for development for some time. I'm taking the occasion that we finally enabled the daily builds on cdimage[1] to announce a couple of changes and reminders. 1. The changes mailing-list[2] has been created, but it might very well be the last one. Indeed, the Launchpad team is currently rolling out an Atom feed to serve the same purpose. It's still early and hidden from the UI, but already working[3]! Feel free to try that out, provide feedback, and thank ~shreyamalviya for working on this topic ⚛️ 2. The Debian auto-sync is partially enabled, with imports coming in batches to avoid over-loading the autopkgtest infrastructure. 3. Talking about autopkgtest, the new infrastructure[4] is now live, but as you might have seen, it's a bit crippled. Debcrafters people are working hard on the topic and will keep you posted. 4. First cycle after an LTS is the time to break things hard. In that regard, the Release Team will roll out breaking changes and refactorings to improve consistency and discoverabilty of the images, as well as prepare for even more change when we start to build a new infrastructure. We still expect to be using Test Observer[5] for the coming cycles, and actually push more data there, so it should become increasingly useful to monitor the state of the release. 5. Similarly to the Release Notes, we've moved away from Discourse for the Release Schedule[6]. Please make sure to follow the change, and submit your big milestones as pull-requests[7] against the new repository. I hope I didn't forget any important information :-) -- Skia [1]: https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ [2]: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/Stonking-changes [3]: http://feeds.launchpad.net/ubuntu/stonking/new-package-uploads.atom [4]: https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/rethinking-autopkgtest-or-how-i-learned-to-stop-worrying-and-love-lxd/66737 [5]: https://tests.ubuntu.com/ [6]: https://documentation.ubuntu.com/release-notes/26.10/schedule/ [7]: https://github.com/ubuntu/ubuntu-release-notes/blob/main/docs/26.10/schedule.md -- ubuntu-devel mailing list ubuntu-devel@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-devel
